Description

The Fujinon HS18x5.5BERD-S is a professional 18x HD ENG/EFP zoom lens designed for 1/2-inch broadcast and XDCAM HD cameras. With a versatile 5.5–100mm focal-length range, integrated 2x extender, servo focus, and servo zoom, this lens provides the flexibility needed for electronic news gathering, live events, sports, documentary production, corporate video, and field production.

The built-in 2x extender instantly expands the effective focal-length range to 11–200mm, providing substantially more reach when shooting distant subjects without changing lenses. The lens also incorporates Fujinon’s QuickZoom technology, allowing operators to rapidly move to the telephoto end of the zoom range to confirm focus.

18x Zoom Range

The 5.5–100mm focal range provides a highly useful combination of wide-angle coverage and telephoto reach.

At 100mm, the lens reaches approximately a 4° horizontal angle of view, allowing operators to isolate distant subjects and capture tighter shots from a considerable distance.

Built-In 2x Extender
