Description

The Hollyland Solidcom M1 is a professional full-duplex wireless intercom system designed for film and television production, live events, concerts, broadcast, sports, corporate events, houses of worship, and other multi-person productions.

Operating in the 1.9 GHz frequency band, the Solidcom M1 provides reliable wireless communication without requiring dedicated intercom cables between each crew member. The system features an integrated panel antenna with up to approximately 1,300 ft / 400 m line-of-sight transmission range, while the optional external FRP antennas provide approximately 985 ft / 300 m of 360-degree coverage.

The M1 is available in 4-beltpack and 8-beltpack configurations. The 8-beltpack package is particularly well suited for professional production crews that need communication between directors, producers, camera operators, lighting personnel, stage managers, and production assistants.

Hollyland specifies a 200 Hz–7 kHz frequency response, greater than 50 dB signal-to-noise ratio, and less than 1% distortion.

Full-Duplex Communication

The Solidcom M1 provides true full-duplex communication, allowing crew members to talk and listen simultaneously without using a push-to-talk button.

This makes the system particularly useful for professional productions where communication needs to remain continuous and immediate.

The headset microphone can also be muted by moving the microphone boom, providing quick hands-free talk/mute control.

Long-Range Wireless Communication

The Solidcom M1’s built-in panel antenna provides up to approximately 1,300 ft / 400 m of transmission range in front of the base station under line-of-sight conditions.

The system also includes external FRP antennas designed to provide approximately 985 ft / 300 m of 360-degree coverage, making them useful for larger venues and productions where crew members need to move around the entire communication area.

Actual range depends on building construction, obstructions, RF interference, antenna placement, and the production environment.

Three Communication Groups

The Solidcom M1 supports up to three separate communication groups.

Rechargeable Battery System

Each Solidcom M1 beltpack uses removable rechargeable batteries.

Hollyland specifies approximately 6 hours of operating time per battery, with batteries charging in approximately 2.5 hours. Each beltpack uses two removable batteries so crews can rotate batteries during longer production days.

Lightweight Beltpacks

Each beltpack weighs approximately 200 g / 7.05 oz, making it lightweight enough for extended use throughout a production day.

The beltpack features an ergonomic button layout, LCD display, detachable antenna, and belt/lanyard attachment points.
