Description

The Aputure Light Storm LS 1200d Pro is a professional 1,200W daylight-balanced COB LED point-source fixture designed for high-output film, television, commercial, broadcast, and photography production. As one of Aputure’s flagship Light Storm fixtures, the 1200d Pro combines extremely high output with Bowens Mount compatibility, professional DMX/CRMX control, weather resistance, and flexible AC or DC power options.

With the included LS 1200 Series Hyper Reflectors, the LS 1200d Pro can deliver up to approximately 83,100 lux at 3 meters using the Narrow reflector. The interchangeable Narrow, Medium, and Wide reflectors provide different beam angles and allow the fixture to be adapted for focused long-distance lighting, general-purpose illumination, or broader coverage.

The LS 1200d Pro features an IP54-rated weather-resistant design, making it suitable for demanding location production and light outdoor conditions.

Its weather-resistant construction incorporates sealed components, weatherproof connectors, and protected cooling systems.

The fixture should still be operated according to manufacturer guidelines in wet conditions. Aputure specifically notes that water-related damage is not covered under warranty.

Power Options

The LS 1200d Pro can operate from standard 100–240V AC power and also supports professional 48V DC power solutions.

The control box has two 48V DC inputs. One input can operate the fixture at approximately half output, while both inputs are required for full output. Each input is rated for 48V/15A and approximately 720W.

The fixture has a maximum power consumption of approximately 1,440W, making it significantly more manageable on appropriately sized generators than many comparable high-output HMI fixtures.
